Join us for Northview Kids Day Camp in Chilliwack! This week is filled with 4 days of activities, games, snacks, and God’s Word, all designed to provide a fun and safe environment for building relationships with peers, leaders, and God. Each morning, small groups rotate between various activities. In the afternoons, campers can look forward to a special large group activity! We end the week by inviting friends and family to join us for a final closing session!

What is Northview Kids?
Here at Northview Kids, we exist to “MAKE DISCIPLES. To grow in kids and families a love and knowledge of God, His WORD and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Our mission is to equip the next generation to be deeply rooted followers of Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is that every boy and girl who joins us on the weekend will come to understand and know that Jesus is the Savior they need, put their trust and faith in Him, and belong wholly to Him. We are committed not only to teaching kids about God but also to partnering with and equipping you as you disciple and raise faithful followers of Jesus. It is our joy to help kids live out the joy of their salvation, grow in their faith and experience God’s love in a meaningful way. This passion drives everything we do—both on the weekends and throughout the week—as we create opportunities for children to know, love, and follow Jesus.

Something for everyone
Nursery
Your child is a beautiful gift from God and we are here to care for and love your baby or toddler. We also are excited to help introduce your child to their Creator through play, songs, stories, and prayer time.
Our nursery is for babies and toddlers from 6 months – 24 months old. Check-in opens 30 minutes before services start and program doors open 15 minutes before service starts. It is open during our Sunday morning services, and during select special seasons throughout the year. The Nursery is located in our children’s ministry wing on the second floor.
Our nursery features:
- Carefully enforced check-in system
- Strict enforcement of volunteer/child ratios
- Regular cleansing and disinfecting of toys
- The most loving and gifted volunteers to care for and love on your littles
Preschool
Check-in opens 30 minutes before services start and program doors open 15 minutes before service starts. Preschool is for children aged 2 – 4 years old. Each week your child will be welcomed by caring and compassionate teachers and helpers. During the service, they will hear Bible stories creatively taught, participate in singing, activities, Bible memorization and craft time! The activities relate directly to the Bible story and allow the leader to re-tell and reinforce the Bible lesson. Prayer time will allow your child to grow in their understanding of God.
We are committed to meeting their needs for love, security, understanding and acceptance in a world that is unstable, competitive and sometimes violent. Our programs are kid-oriented, our teachers, and supervisors are carefully chosen and our curriculum is Biblically sound. It is a privilege to care for your children here. Together as a team, we are growing tomorrow’s leaders. Let’s give them the best. Let’s give them Jesus! After all, they are HIS kids!
Grade School
Check-in opens 30 minutes before services start and program doors open 15 minutes before service starts.. Children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 will meet in their assigned classes for a welcome and activity time to prepare them for the day’s Bible Lesson. They will then transition to an open session for a time of worship, learning, and prayer. Afterwards they will transition back to their class for Review and Bible Skills, Group Discussion and a Closing Activity. Our children are taught the Word of God using Gospel Project.
Here, we seek to sow seeds of faith in our children by teaching God’s Word, modeling godly character and displaying Christ’s Love. Our programs are kid-oriented, our teachers, and supervisors are carefully chosen and our curriculum is Biblically sound. It is a privilege to care for your children here. The kids are given a Memory Verse and Big Picture Question to memorize over the course of each unit.
We have NirV Bibles available for purchase at the Kids Info Desk on the weekends for $25.
Bible Presentation Weekend!
If you have children who are born in 2021 and currently in the Age 4 Class/entering Kindergarten in the Fall, we’d love to invite you to our Preschool Bible Presentation! Together we will celebrate your child and present them with their own bible on stage in front of the congregation!

Child Dedication
At Northview Church, we aim to equip our parents to raise deeply rooted kids who love our great God, and child dedication is part of the journey. Child dedication is the parents’ affirmation before the gathered church of their intent to lead and spiritually nurture their child to know, love and serve God.
As we launch our Chilliwack location we will not be doing Child Dedications immediately until we establish our Sunday Service rhythm. If you are interested in dedicating your child, please contact Sarah Vanderwoerd.
