Membership

Looking to become a member at Northview? Our Membership class will walk you through the history of our church, and what it looks like to walk in committed community with one another, while deepening roots in Christ. To become a member of a church is to formally commit oneself to an identifiable, local body of believers who have joined together for specific, divinely ordained purposes.

Membership candidate prerequisites:

• Confession of Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord.
• Willingness to submit to the authority of Scripture, and to those placed in positions of spiritual authority.
• Baptism on confession of faith. We will not ask for proof of baptism but those baptized as infants, or before they were able to make an informed decision, will be required to be re-baptized. For more information on our next Baptism Class go to northview.org/baptism.
• Attend the Membership Class.
• Where a person has previously been a member of another church, a letter of good standing will be requested.
