Do you know someone who has big questions about Christianity? You may be wrestling with big questions, or you may know a deconstructing young adult, a skeptical but seeking person, or even an ex-vangelical.
Northview is opening a space each Tuesday from January 18 to February 15, which is specifically intended for those who are doubting or have big questions about the Christian faith.
This is not a place for hostile debate, nor a place intended for mature believers to gain more knowledge, but rather a place where men and women with doubts, hang-ups, barriers, and/or questions about Christianity can process them without judgment or rancour. Andy Steiger, the director of Apologetics Canada, and Graham Nickel, one of the elders at Northview, will be leading this group and will deal with 5 big topics including faith, morality, and purpose.
What’s the best news you’ve ever heard? Was it surprising? Did it change the way you think? Or was it something you wanted to be true but didn’t dare hope? We invite you to join us this winter to discover the best news of all – the gospel!
We’ll spend 7 weeks studying the book of Mark and explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ. If you want to find out what God is like, and how you’re supposed to relate to him, then this is all you need. This is big news, and it is great news. Whether you’re new to the faith or desiring to gain the skills of communicating basic doctrines into plain words, you’re welcome here!
Our Baptism class is a one-time evening class where we go over the meaning of baptism, your testimony, and next the steps to take after your baptism. Those who take the January 27th Class will be baptized in our services at the beginning of March 2022. Attendance of class is required for baptism.
This class is offered three times a year, typically in the fall, winter and spring; with a baptism service to follow a month or two after. Questions? email@example.com
