Church Plant Partnerships
Creekside Fellowship Church
What led you to plant/ replant/ revitalize your church?
My family has always longed to one day live and serve in a small town rural setting. As church planting opportunities began to arise, our prayer was that God would lead us by having 3 things present: somewhere to meet, a people who’s hearts had begun to be warmed to the gospel, and a great gospel need. Providentially, I reconnected with an old friend who is Lead Pastor at North Peace MB Church in Fort St. John. Their church had been praying God would send them a pastor willing to plant in Dawson as they had been given the keys to a place to meet, saw hearts being warmed, and recognized the immense need. Praise God!
How have you seen God working in your church?
We launch on September 11th, 2022. Our last info meeting (through word of mouth only) had more than 60 people present which was far more than expected. We are also very excited to have 9 families who have joined our Launch Team, all who are longing to grow in godliness and fellowship with the family of God!
What is your connection to Northview Community Church?
I am completing my Masters of Divinity through Northview’s Immerse program this year and Northview is financially supporting Creekside as we move toward independence in the coming years!
Mission:
Creekside Fellowship exists to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. We are a church family committed to Bible Teaching, Christ Exalting, and Disciple Making, unto the glory of God!
