More Than A Song…

Worship is by its very nature a complete ‘life commitment’. It’s an all-day, all-night, all-week, all-year, every year thing! It must impact our thought and deed. Do we simply tack on our Christianity as some compartmentalized part of our life? Or does Christ truly influence how and who we are in everyday life? If this is really the case, consider yourself a ‘worshiper’.

Worship can also be defined as adoration, love, reverence, respect, devotion, adulation and/or veneration. It comes from the Old English ‘worthship’, intimating a measure of something’s worth. So, next time you’re in a time of worship and adoration, ask yourself, “What is God worth to me?”. Perhaps the answer will revolutionize how you celebrate your faith in Christ.
