Why don't Northview women wear head coverings?

Thank you for speaking to this topic. I recently met a 24 year old gal who has a strong conviction about wearing a hat because “a woman is instructed to do so in the Bible.” She asked to be mentored by myself and I’m happy to do it. Not ever having to face this as an issue before, I told her it didn’t matter to me if that is her conviction. I would love her anyway and it doesn’t change our status for salvation. She thanked me and we’re ok to continue. But it sounded so legalistic to me. I told my daughter about the conversation and she sent me your link. Bethany Stewart is my daughter.
