Back to Basics: the World and Work
The change of pace prompts reflection on the foundational basics. The initial instructions to our first parents include the Creation Mandate as well as insights into our work and our vocation. And when work slows, even the earth quiets: “Even the everyday hum of humanity — people moving about on cars, trains and planes — has a seismically detectable heartbeat.”

Looking back at the Resurrection radically answers our multiple fears of dying. “What is it that Christians fear most about the process and results of dying? Here are six common fears and a very brief biblical remedy for each of them.” Also, these 20 quotes from Tim Keller’s new book, On Death, bring great encouragement since death does not have the final word.

Reducing the Culture Shock of Heaven
The path of “sanctification,” of growing to love and follow Jesus more, makes seeing Jesus face-to-face less “shocking” — as Sam Allberry explains in this three-minute video.

Toilet Paper and Beyond: Which shelves are now bare?
