Back to Basics: the World and Work
The change of pace prompts reflection on the foundational basics. The initial instructions to our first parents include the Creation Mandate as well as insights into our work and our vocation. And when work slows, even the earth quiets: “Even the everyday hum of humanity — people moving about on cars, trains and planes — has a seismically detectable heartbeat.”
