For centuries Israel had eagerly anticipated the fulfillment of prophetic promises that God would send them a saviour: a King from the line of David would establish His Kingdom. Join us as we study what Jesus’s own disciple, Matthew, recorded from the life and teachings of the long-awaited King! In Part 1 of this 3-part study, we will focus on Matthew 1-12. Over 11 weeks, we’ll see how Jesus Christ fulfills Old Testament promises, and we’ll learn what it looks like to be a citizen in the Kingdom of the true and merciful King.
