Parent Equipping

At Northview we are committed to helping people become deeply rooted followers of Jesus. To this end our pastors and staff minister directly to people at all ages and stages (from Children’s Ministry to Seniors), and also provide training and support for parents, grandparents and guardians who are, themselves, helping their children and grandchildren become deeply rooted followers of Jesus!

In an effort to help you guide the child(ren) in your life towards following Jesus, we have organized a series of Parent Equipping Nights on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during Middle School Youth and High School Youth campus nights. Both nights will be discussing the same topic, so you can choose which one you would like to attend. We thought this would be a convenient time for parents of teenagers to participate, since you are already coming to the church to drop off and pick up your kids

These upcoming sessions on April 29 and May 1 will be a conversation on dating. The dating game has seemed to be an ever-changing pool of mess. Our goal is to provide a time where parents can openly discuss questions about their kids who want to date, are currently dating, or one day think their kids will date. We will offer a biblical perspective on dating and discuss how to help navigate your kids through the treacherous waters of dating.
