Ministry Leader Training

Who is invited? ALL those who serve in a ministry at Northview (eg. Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Young Adults, Campus Ushers and Hospitality, Men’s and Women’s Northview & Precept Bible Studies, our Elder Boards and Committees, Prayer, Care Courses, Seniors/Seasons, Community Groups, Alpha/Questioning Christianity Table leaders, Worship, etc!)

What will we be discussing? Practicing the Way? The popularity of books like John Mark Comer’s “Practicing the Way” demonstrates that Christians are becoming increasingly interested in spiritual formation and spiritual disciplines.  While there is much to applaud about people’s desire to embrace a more holistic vision of the Christian life, our pastors are also recognizing a need to practice discernment over which practices we embrace and why.  Join us on Saturday September 6th to find out more!

Why should I come? To gain an understanding of how Northview elders and pastors are thinking through these issues SO THAT you are better equipped to lead others and participate in your volunteer role at Northview.
