SKATECAMP SPONSORSHIP- Skatelife, a division of Young Life of Canada, works with skateboarding youth all across Canada, sharing the good news of the Gospel with an often overlooked group of teens. Our annual Skate Camp, which happens in August, is a week-long road trip-style camp where groups from across Western Canada come together to experience crazy contests, travel through the Okanagan, and ultimately hear about the life, teachings, and hope of Jesus. The camaraderie is like nothing else and is often mentioned as the highlight of the year for many kids. We seek to make this camp as affordable as possible at $600 per camper. This includes the costs needed for food, accommodation, and even fuel for kids to get to the Okanagan from all across Western Canada. Yet, this is still unaffordable for many kids, and that is what has sparked this campaign. We are looking to raise $10,000 to subsidize the cost by $200 for 50 kids. For more information and to donate, visit https://give.younglife.ca/campaign/skatelife-scholarship-campaign-2026/c774676. (05/08)
