Jump6

Grade 6 Youth | Mondays | 6:30 - 8PM | Downes Road Campus

Jump 6 is the Grade 6 introductory, weekly youth program for Northview’s Abbotsford campuses.

On Mondays we meet from 6:30-8:00pm at the Downes Road campus. But in some weeks we will join our Grade 7/8 Vertical Edge youth group on Tuesdays from 7-9pm for a Big Night. Make sure you check out the monthly calendar dates.

We seek to foster an energetic, welcoming, Christ-Centered environment for youth to invite their circle of friends to. Join us for a time of interactive activities, large group Bible teaching, small (core) group discussion, refreshments and great youth leaders. Come check us out!

Vertical Edge

Grade 7-8 Youth | Tuesday | 7-9PM | Downes Road Campus

Vertical Edge is the Gr. 7/8 weekly youth program for Northview’s Abbotsford campuses.

We gather on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm at the Downes Road campus. Core Group (small group) nights are the first Tuesday of every month beginning in Nov.

Our discipleship process is rooted in the unchanging relevance of God’s Word and the eternal hope that we have in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

D.I.P.

Leadership Program | Grades 6-8

Our D.I.P. Leadership program exists to support, equip and challenge students. D.I.P. is intended for grade 6-8 students who are excited to grow as disciples of Christ and actively serve within our church and local community. The D.I.P. program meets every 2 weeks prior to the J6 & VE evening programs.

Goals

1) Maturity: leading students in building upon the foundation of their faith through prayer,
study and action.
2) Service: helping students to discern their call and giftings towards advancing the kingdom
mission of Christ in the church and in the world
3) Leadership: equipping students to become “disciple- makers”, those who are ready and able
to lead others towards faith, in spiritual maturity, and in Christian service

DIP is finished for the 2025/26 season. DIP will start back up in Oct 2026. Please email
matwood@northview if your son/daughter is interested in being part of this program.

Bible Study

Thursdays | 3-4:30pm | Grades 7 - 8

Our Gr7/8 after-school Bible study happens on Thursday afternoons 3-4:30pm. We realize that
middle school dismissal times vary throughout our community. No worries! Just arrive when
you can. We meet downstairs in the youth lounge & have after-school snacks, some hang-out time and
then enjoy a tasty Bible study! Over the past few years this Bible study has been a quality time
of community, prayer and the Word.

But……Pastor Dan needs to know if students are interested in attending.

Please email matwood@northview.org if your son/daughter may be interested in being part of this.

The first Thursday study is tentatively scheduled for Oct 8 2026

Higher Ground

Weekend Bible Class | Grades 6-8

Classes at these campuses are on a rotation, visit our other campus websites for class rotation schedules.

Students are encouraged to bring their own Bible & be ready to jump in. The New Living Translation (NLT) is the primary teaching Bible used in our weekend study. The Gr. 6-8 classes begin just prior to the sermon. Students stay with their parents for the worship & when dismissed, head to the assigned classrooms.

Please arrange with your son/ daughter whether you will be collecting them after the service from their classroom or if they are to meet you at a pre-determined location.
