CAREER PATHS PROGRAM – Abbotsford Community Services is pleased to announce a new program funded by the province of B.C. and the Government of Canada. Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants is a career enhancement program aimed at professionals new to Canada, but are currently underemployed and having trouble accessing their field of expertise. The Career Paths program offers one to one counseling combined with workshops aimed at increasing the marketability of newcomers and their skills to employers. These workshops include professional resume writing, interviewing skills, job search skills and networking opportunities.
