Northview Community Church is committed to gathering together to worship Jesus in large gatherings.

UPDATE: MARCH 12

In line with recent recommendations, we believe it is the best course of action to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by suspending all ministries of Northview Community Church at all campuses until at least Easter Sunday. We have made this decision to promote the health and wellbeing of those in our community, especially the most vulnerable. As Christians we are called to love our neighbours, put down our preferences for the sake of others, and serve the most vulnerable. This precaution is being taken so that we can live out the commands of Scripture to love others. Let’s live out our call as Christians to love others in all the tangible ways we can. People around us are afraid, ill, experiencing financial hardships and pressures, and a variety of other challenges. In the midst of these difficult times, let us continue to pray for and sacrificially serve others, place our trust in Jesus, and walk forward in faith that this pandemic is under God’s meticulous sovereignty. The gospel is good news for a broken and sick world. Let us believe that message deeply and proclaim it boldly in the days to come.

We are actively monitoring the advisories from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as well as the BC Centre for Disease Control. Currently, the risk assessment to British Columbians is low. Our responsiveness will increase if and when it is advisable to do so.

Visiting Northview

Our office will remain open for the time being. We ask anyone who visits Northview to be extra mindful of their own health. Here are some simple yet effective ways to promote your health and protect others:

  • Wash your hands thoroughly and avoid touching your face.
  • Use hand sanitizer when you arrive and when you leave Northview.
  • Refrain from shaking hands when onsite at Northview.
  • Please stay home if you are feeling any symptoms of illness. Almost all of our services can be found on our website.
  • Starting this weekend, March 14 we will be livestreaming our full service from our Downes Road campus at northview.org/livesteam
