A Message from Pastor Jesse

I love gathering to worship our God through prayer, song, hearing the Word preached, and taking communion together. What a joy it is that we are able to gather in this way once again as restrictions on religious gatherings have been lifted!

As a new ministry year has begun, I would encourage you to sign up to receive our newsletter, which is where we try to keep you up to date and informed with things happening at Northview.

Whether you are new or have been with us for a while, our hope is that Northview would be a place where you can become and grow as a disciple of Jesus. Jesus is our hope, saviour, and Lord and it is His name that we seek to make known in Mission and around the world.

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesse Schellenberg
Mission Campus Pastor

Women's Bible Study | In The Wilderness Part 2

Join us for part 2 of Numbers as we continue to learn obedience and see how God is faithful when our faith is tested! All are welcome to join, even if you missed the first part of Numbers. You do not need to have completed part 1 to understand and enjoy part 2 of the study!

Women's Precept Study | The Gospel of Mark

Join us as we study the Gospel of Mark! The most important question you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? With all the opinions floating around how can you know who is right? Mark’s account of Jesus’ life gives you the answer, and it is more action-packed and fast-paced than the other three Gospel records. As you learn to carefully observe Mark’s report, you’ll discover that Jesus left no doubt about who He claimed to be.

Men's Bible Study | In The Wilderness Part 1

The book of Numbers is an often overlooked book full of fascinating stories about talking donkeys, poisonous snakes, spies, and battles! In it, we enter the wilderness with the people of Israel on their way to the Promised Land. Their journey is marked by extreme contrasts of obedience and disobedience, just judgment and sinful rebellion, trust and doubt – sounds a lot like the journey many of us face daily!

Membership gives believers a sense of belonging (Hebrews 10:23-25). By becoming a member, you accept responsibility for a group of fellow believers and you yourself become accountable to mature brothers and sisters in Christ (Galatians 6:1-2, 10; Hebrews 13:17). If you would like to fill out an application for the Membership Course, please click HERE.

Children are a gift from God, and as you begin the journey of raising your child to know, love, and obey the Lord, you are not alone. At Northview Church, we aim to equip our parents to raise gospel-centered kids who love our great God, and child dedication is part of the journey. Child dedication is the parents’ affirmation before the gathered church of their intent to lead and spiritually nurture their child to know, love and serve God. Baptism not only signifies resurrection to a new life in Christ, but it is also a public commitment to walk in Christ’s way. Baptism means we now belong to Christ. Classes are for those ready to be baptized and for those interested in learning more about what baptism means. Click HERE to learn more.
