Courses for Care assist individuals and families in personal healing.

Courses for Care exist to bring about healing and strength and a personal relationship with the Creator who is the only true healer and guide. They equip people with life skills to discover their purpose and meaning in life and to become whole men and women. These programs will help you develop skills to promote healthy families and safe guard marriage.

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

Each course will run Monday nights from 6:30-8:30pm and costs $20 to cover course materials.

Divorce Care 4 Kids

Divorce Care 4 Kids (DC4K) is a special group to help children ages 6-12 (Must be able to read) heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents. Best of all, children will learn how God’s love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy!

DC4K meets weekly in 13-week cycles. We combine games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted. They look forward to each time their DC4K “family” gets together.

Parents are encouraged to be involved with their children as the children go through DC4K. Each parent will receive a weekly “Parent Page” describing what the child has learned and offering tips to strengthen the parent/child relationship, creating stronger bonds in the single parent family.

DC4K follows the same schedule and age-appropriate themes as the adult Divorce Care program allowing parents and children to progress through the healing process together and providing a springboard for meaningful discussions. Parents must enrol in Divorce Care that runs at the same time as DC4K in order for kids to be enrolled in DC4K.
