What I do: I’m the guy who is actually in the office five days a week since they won’t let me on stage.  So, typically I try to fill my day with reviewing financial statements, dealing with HR matters, trying to figure out how to make the building bigger without building, developing an IT strategy without Microsoft, and finding creative people to do things that I can’t.

Family: The only pictures I have in my office are of my wife (Laura), and my two boys (Zac and Jeremy).  Every time I look at them, I smile.

Education: B. Comm.  From U of Sask. (Brrrrr), CA designation, lectured frequently by Jeff.

Hope and Vision for Northview: That as a community of believers, we would truly embrace what it means to lead people to passionately follow Jesus.  That the gospel would permeate every part of our being.

How I got involved with Northview: My wife and I joined one of Northview’s life groups in 1993.  We have been privileged to be able to serve in a variety of roles since then. Following the sale of my business in 2008, God opened the opportunity for me to join the staff.

A few of my favourite things: Friends (not the show), golf, Tozer, Keller, San Diego Chargers, good food, wrestling Jeremy (till he gets too big like Zac), U2.

Wisdom: “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”  Joshua 24: 14-15.
