Pastor Julius Jacob Nangai is the Ghana Field leader and also leads the Jesus Film Ministry, along with Pastor Ofori Manu and Elifah Wasiah. They take the film out twice a week during the spring and once a week during the hot summer months. At present they have a budget of $50 per month for the Jesus fi lm ministry, which needs to be $100 at least due to the cost of petrol.  Pastor Ofori Manu has a full primary school, grades K-8th, on the Techiman Church property, with over 200 children. They need support to pay the 10 teachers a salary of $55 per month, the average pay for teachers. Right now they are paying only $35 and lose their good workers as soon as they can get a better offer.  Most of the pastors are farmers and raise some vegetables, such as tomatoes, African yams and casava roots. Others are learning some form of self-help but with the economic down turn, they are struggling financially. They are given $25 per month at present but really need $50 monthly to maintain their growing families.

Prayer Requests

• Pray for the Ministry and the 12 established Churches
• Pray for the Jesus Film Ministry which sees many new converts weekly in unreached and remote villages, and the increased $50 monthly needed to continue this great ministry.
• Pray for new sponsors to be raised up to help meet the need for $50 per month for the 12 pastors.
• $55 sponsorships for the 10 teachers at Techiman School. Note: Please cover the school in much prayer, for in years past, funds were raised through many child sponsorships but when the children moved on or left, the school was left under supported.  Through maintaining and supporting the school itself, and paying the teachers, we have been able to keep the school operating.
