Mission Summary

We began our second term in January 2010. We are a part of a long-term church-planting team in Phuket, Thailand. We are excited about the small beginnings of a church that is gathering at a restaurant in our neighborhood. God is leading us as we develop relationships with people from all walks of life. We have recently had the opportunity to partner with a local university by teaching English. We also look forward to assisting them in community projects. We have been given freedom to talk about our faith in this context. We are also pursuing open doors to get involved in our neighborhood night market. Again, we are amazed by the freedom to speak about our faith, hand out tracts, and pray for people in this public marketplace.

As we aim to practice a lifestyle of listening to God, we are amazed by way that God continues to set up appointments for us. JESUS is the HOPE for this nation, and His kingdom is advancing. What a privilege for us to live here during this time!

Prayer Requests

• Pray that people would encounter the living God and that He would transform their lives!
• Pray that we would be faithful with the many opportunities God gives us to share the gospel in Phuket.
• Pray that we, and our children, would continue to grow in our ability to speak Thai… this is an ongoing journey for us!
