Mission Summary

Lifeteams is a community of young adults learning about justice and mercy lived out in relationship. It’s a “hands-on” experience in ministry, for young adults who feel their hearts being pulled toward marginalized youth, and want to be a missionary in their own backyard. The 8 and a half month internship opens the door for God to shape the hearts and minds of emerging young leaders, while they impact teens who don’t know Jesus yet.

Each year we are challenged and stretched by the team of young adults God invites us to walk along with. We need Godly wisdom and discernment in creating the environment for them as a community to explore what God has for them through Lifeteams, and in mentoring them as individuals to engage with the opportunities God has for them to move closer to His heart.

Prayer Requests

• One of the places our ministry has grown into is involvement with the youth of the Chilcotin First Nation in the Nemiah Valley. We pray that as our teams of students continue forming relationships with the youth there, young leaders will be developed that will spread the love of God to their people.
• Pray that as a family, we would continue to hold everything we have with open hands before God.
• Pray that we would have Godly wisdom and listening ears, leading the students as we are being led by God.

This year God has specifically laid Matthew 11:29 before us ...”Let me teach YOU, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.” What an amazing God we serve.
