Mission Summary

Michael has been a “defender of the faith” among university students for 38 years. He has participated in over 80 debates and given hundreds of lectures with Q & A on secular campuses. This year Michael is beginning a new strategy to reach university students online through regular blog posts - see p2c.com/michaelhorner. As part of his role in training Christians how to make a case for and defend the Christian claims to truth, Michael also teaches philosophy part time at Trinity Western University and Summit Pacific College.

The opportunities and potential to reach many more students through online blogging is very exciting. I must admit though that it is a steep learning curve to learn how to function in the digital world most effectively.

I continue to battle cancer, but the news is very good right now, with evidence of very few cancers cells still in my body.

Prayer Requests

• Pray that this old dog will learn the new tricks he needs to in order to be effective in reaching students online.
• Pray that university students would hear and respond to the evidence for the Christian worldview and the gospel.
• Pray for the movement of apologetics training in churches that is gaining momentum in Canada, and for Michael to be able to play a significant role in it. Northview is hosting the Vancouver area conference March, 2013!
• Pray for our monthly salary – more monthly investors are needed.
• Pray for Michael as he continues to battle cancer – we hope that surgery and radiation have eradicated the cancer completely, but pray that any leftover cancer cells would not metastasize.
