What I do: Currently I am a Supervisor for the Ministry for Children and Families. I have worked for MCFD for 20 years in a number of positions around the lower mainland.
Wisdom or bit of advice:
Spouse: Rozella and I have been married since 1990.
Children: We have four children. Denika 18, Trystan 16, Marcus 13, and Kiersten 11.
Education: Diploma in Biblical Studies from Columba Bible College and a BA from Trinity Western University.
Hope and vision for Northview: A place that we learn more about God every week, and take what we have learned and put in to practice in our everyday lives, impacting the people that we come into contact with for the Kingdom.
How I got involved with Northview: When I started at CBC I came to Northview because it was a new church plant and my home church was a relatively new church plant. I was looking for something similar. I meet some great people in the College and Careers and they made me feel very welcome, I liked what I heard and saw, and kept attending. I stayed at Northview through my years at CBC and Trinity.
In 1990 Rozella and I were married, and we made our first home in Abbotsford and Northview our home church. Rozella and I have been involved in Northview since then.
A few of my favourite things: Being involved in my kid’s lives in whatever they are doing. Woodworking when I have time, reading stuff that matters (no novels), camping, cooking, spending time with my wife, and watching some sports.
Favourite kind of music: Pop/rock and roll 80’s+ and I am learning to enjoy the same music as my kids, Muford and sons, Black keys etc.
Hometown: Born and raised in Vanderhoof BC in a Christian home. Home church was Nechako Community Church (NCC).
