Midweek Service Opportunities

Feeling led to serve our community? How about doing so in our public schools? There’s a variety of opportunities to get involved through programs that run throughout the school year- serving breakfasts, tutoring, teaching life skills and Bible lessons, and more!…

Sew Fun – On Tuesday mornings, those serving on behalf of Northview mend clothing for families in need as well as teach families how to mend these clothes.

Cobs Bread– Every Monday evening during the school year, teams of Children’s Ministry servers pick up bread from Cobs and package it for children in need at a local public school. Bread is delivered the next morning.

Homework Club– The Homework Club occurs at a local public school 5 days a week after school to help teach English to their students. The Homework Club runs from 2:40pm-3:40pm. Those who serve in this ministry can choose which day(s) they want to help on.

Public School Breakfast Program– Teams of servers prepare and serve breakfast before the beginning of classes twice a week at local public schools.

Contact Coralie at cdowedoff@northview.org for more information on any of the ministries mentioned above.
