Join Northview Community Church in partnership with The Salvation Army for this year’s Christmas Kettle Campaign.
What is the Christmas Kettle Campaign?
Every day people’s lives are being touched and transformed by the love and hope they find at The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army’s mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs, and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.
In Abbotsford that involves being the Shelter provider, operation of the Meal Centre, Nutritious School Snack Program, Community Kids to Camp Program, Advocacy, Outreach and Family Services Support, Supportive Independent Living Suites for Men, Physical and Mental Health Support, and a host of other programs.
The sad reality is that the demand upon our resources has dramatically increased this year and poverty looms very large for many families and individuals who have nowhere else to turn.
Your gift of ‘Christmas Presence’ as a volunteer bell ringer enables us to continue offering these desperately needed services to those who come to us for assistance. All proceeds from the Kettle Campaign stay right here in our city to support these vital programs.
What can I do? We are looking for volunteers to operate the familiar red kettles this Christmas season. This year’s campaign kicks off December 1st and continues right up until December 24th. We are seeking volunteers that can give two hours or more of their time between the hours of 10 AM and 8 PM.Sign Up Now
Our kettle is located at: Save On Foods, 32700 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC
