What I do: My role is to oversee worship in all areas of Northview ministry; to lead, and also to equip others who lead, in worship.

Wisdom or bit of advice: Journey with Christ with both heart AND head…

Spouse: Darlene

Children: Daniel and Jennifer

Education: Recently graduated with a Master of Worship Studies degree (M.W.S.) from the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies, Jacksonville, FL. Also, I have a B.A. in Psychology and History from SFU, and did assorted Masters Level studies at ACTS Seminary and Regent College.

Hope and Vision for Northview: To see us grow in unity and our desire for God as a worshipping community of Christ, which exists to take His life and love to the world.

How I got involved with Northview: I was contacted by Northview while living and working in Worship Ministry in the UK, and planning to move back to Canada. God transplanted us into a wonderful setting for life and ministry.

A few of my favorite things: Family time; travel; theology; watching sports – Seahawks, Blue Jays, Canucks, Aston Villa (EPL), BC Lions; sampling ethnic foods… and music that speaks to the head and heart. I also enjoy running.

Favourite author: Mark Buchanan, CS Lewis, Robert Webber, Charles Dickens.

Favourite kind of music: Very eclectic selection on my iPod… from Switchfoot to Springsteen, to Chris Tomlin, to The Beatles… to Tchaikovsky…

I like this quote: “I know there’s a balance, I see it when I swing past.” John Mellencamp

Random thoughts: Ever wondered why they call it ‘history’??

Hometown: Born Vancouver – raised in Coquitlam.
