Mission Summary

For the past ten years we have been a part of Setfree Ministries/Samaritan Inn recovery house for men located here in Abbotsford.

Our Mission at Set Free Ministries/Samaritan Inn is to rescue prisoners and street people from their addictive lifestyles and to restore them to wholeness through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Samaritan Inn is a recovery house which assists men dealing with their addictions. A place where they can encounter Jesus. There are many ups and downs, but we persevere for we know Jesus can and will restore them. We know that Jesus is the only one who can change their hearts as he did mine. (Eze 11:19)  Called out from the same background I am able, by the grace of God, to show them what He has done for me and will do for them.

We do devotions daily and disciple the men in their walk with Jesus and teach them to put Him first in their lives and the lives of their families. It has been a very rewarding year watching men come to confess and getting to know Jesus as their Lord and Savoir. It is a thrill to see former addicts praising God in song and worship and see the smiles on their loved ones faces. Thank you for your prayers and support.

 

Prayer Requests

• Please pray for wisdom and discernment for our staff and for continued growth in faith and perseverance for the men.
• That the Lord would continue to bless us financially and spiritually and pray that the Lord will bring those who are still suffering from addictions.
