Mission Summary

Vic is a resource missionary based in the MB Mission office in Abbotsford.  After 25 years of service and residence in Brazil, Vic and Marty relocated to Abbotsford in 2010.  Vic continues with MB Mission as Coordinator of Mission Capacity Building, that is, helping our sister conferences in Africa, Asia and Latin America to develop missionary sending capacities of their own. He works with international church and mission leaders in vision-casting, training, and setting up sending structures. Marty plays a vital supportive role and upon receiving her immigration papers will pursue part-time employment in social services.

Prayer Requests

• Congo: Pray that God would multiply the “5 loaves and 2 fishes” that this conference has so that the multitudes in and beyond Congo could taste the good news of Jesus.
• Peru: Pray for a new generation of healthy church leaders to be discerned and trained to help lead our 14 Peruvian churches.
• Japan: Pray that Japanese churches will have a renewed passion for reaching the lost both at home and abroad.
• Pray for Vic that he would relate wisely to church and mission leaders in these and eight other MB conferences.  Pray for journey mercies as he travels.
• Pray that Marty would have grace and patience as she integrates into life in Canada, and waits for her residence papers. Also pray for their three daughters: Beth (27) living in Seattle, Kristen (25) newly-married and living in Holland, and Angie (21) finishing her college education in California. Please pray for spiritual vitality, protection and health for all of them.
