Mission Summary

Having the opportunity to work in an orphanage for a number of years gave me a heart and love for needy children. Seeing the amazing needs that they have gave me the vision to start a charity here in Canada called “Children of Hope” to help those less fortunate in third world countries. 

Right now our focus is on three children’s homes in central Mexico and we will see where the Lord takes us. One home has more than 130 children in one and in the other more than 35 children. We also have one community center up in the mountains of Queretaro with an indigenous group called the Otomi. We have had opportunity to bring groups here to help with building projects and connect with the children. We have come to love these children. We have also started a child sponsorship program connecting these two children’s homes to Canadians. 

My wife Bety and I were both widowed and met in one of the homes and were married there. God has blessed our time together and now we work as a team. Our plans are to continue to raise awareness and support for these three children’s homes and possibly more in the future.

Prayer Requests

• Please pray for the children in these three children’s homes in Mexico: Pan de Vida (bread of life) in Queretaro with 80+ children, Dulce Refugio (sweet refuge) in Aguascalientes with 40+ children and Esperanza para Ti (hope for you) in Queretaro with about 20 Children (our newest children’s home).
• For the leadership as there are over 40 people overseeing the work in these three homes.
