Mission Summary

It is a delight for all of us at Rain Forest International School to be moved onto our brand new campus. I was very nervous before the start of the school year about whether or not we’d actually have the classrooms set up and everything functional in time for the start of the year, but praise God for his graciousness in helping us meet the deadline. We have had a good school year so far, despite an unusually high amount of turnover; we have had staff leave during the year for health reasons, several come during the year once their financial partnerships were One great thing about all this fluidity is that we are all learning to be dependent on God for strength and peace.
   
This year in Cameroon we have been hearing many stories of how God is using his Word in the mother tongues of Cameroonians to touch their hearts and bring them into deep relationship with him. Recently one language had the book of Luke dedicated, three New Testaments were dedicated in December, and two others are currently being typeset in preparation for printing. I praise God that as a teacher and principal at RFIS I have been able to be part of the life-transforming work of bringing God’s Word to his people. I look forward to the day when we will all be worshiping together before the throne of God with our brothers and sisters from every tribe, tongue, and nation.

Prayer Requests

• Please pray that God’s Word will continue to bear fruit in Cameroon and that God will protect those involved in the translation process in the various language groups.
• Pray that God will raise up more workers to reach the almost 2300 people groups worldwide that still do not have his Word in their own language.
• Praise God for the amazing students at Rain Forest International School, and pray that he will move in the hearts of teachers to come and fill our many staffing needs for the coming year.
• Pray that God will daily grant me wisdom and grace to lead RFIS in a manner that brings God glory.
• Pray for continual spiritual growth and perseverance in my own life and that of my students.
