Mission Summary

I support the work of translating the Bible into the first languages of people in Central Africa by providing for the educational needs of missionary children so that their parents can continue their God given tasks in Cameroon and Central Africa. I serve as the Head of School (Director)at Rain Forest International School (RFIS) and also teach some classes for which no other teacher has been found. RFIS serves students in grades 7-12 using a combination of American, British and locally developed curriculum taught from a Christian perspective. Our staff are provided by the six partner missions who work together in governing the school. Brian is seconded to the Cameroonian Association of Bible Translation and Literacy where he does computer support and typsets New Testaments.

RFIS needs a minimum of eight new teachers for the coming school year. There is not much time left for people to go through the application process and raise the required funds. It is a burdensome responsibility to try and recruit these new teachers. I will be getting married in July, 2012, which is both exciting and making it difficult to accomplish all the planning required for the school year that begins in August.

Prayer Requests

• Pray that staff would be found quickly to fill the empty teaching positions.
• Pray that Brian and I would glorify God in our engagement and marriage and that God will clearly guide us as we continue to serve him in Cameroon.
