Mission Summary

Clyde:  The huge change in my life and ministry was becoming Executive Director of NAIM in October.  My heart and life experience is on the ministry side, and this job requires considerable administrative duty.  When I sensed the Lord wanted me to take the responsibility, I told Him He would have to give me lots of grace, and He has.  We have moved the headquarters to Abbotsford from Ladner, reduced costs, initiated in-service training for all of our missionaries, and begun strong recruitment of First Nation believers into ministry at every level of NAIM from field to Board.

Paula:  My role is to aid and support my husband in his leadership of NAIM missionaries and especially to interact with the women missionaries in NAIM.  On a trip last year with Women Of The Harvest, I sensed the Lord telling me I should cut back on international travel and ministry.  Not long after, my husband took the assignment as CEO of NAIM and I understood that the Lord had prepared me to work with my husband in this ministry with First Nation people here in North America.

 

Prayer Requests

Clyde:
• Personal disciplines, abiding in Christ for self, family and ministry.
• Wisdom and grace to serve the missionaries and those who support them through NAIM, and also the growing number of First Nation believers.
• Pray that God will give us grace to make disciples among First Nation people, and enlist some of them into NAIM if that is His intent for the future.

Paula:
• For my ministry of guiding missionaries to raise support and keep their support coming in.
• For my ministry of visiting the missionary women on NAIM staff, encouraging them to disciple the First Nation women they work with.
• For the Parents of Missionaries group I work with to deeply and practically serve the hearts of those who have given children and grandchildren up to the Lord’s mission fields.
