Mission Summary

Barry Bowater serves with the Great Commission Foundation, a ministry service to more than 50 faith-based organizations.  The purpose of the ministry is to assist Great Commission focused organizations by increasing their effectiveness in the fulfillment of God’s call through the provision of a variety of services.  Barry provides a ministry role with the GCF by offering leadership development and biblically based management principles to faith-based organizations in Canada and internationally.  Barry is certified through the Adizes Change Management Methodology and offers his services through one-on-one coaching, leadership team seminars and retreats and organizational consulting.

Barry continues to represent Trinity Western University in Ottawa through his ministry work with politicians and diplomats.  In addition, Barry coordinates the Pastor’s Council, a group of prominent church leaders from across Canada who regularly interact and represent their faith with political leaders in Ottawa.
