A great topic that is often underestimated for its impact on unbelievers (How can I believe in God who?).
Can you recommend sources that deal with this subject further?
Particularly, how judgment can be passed on people who have not received the good news from a Christian source. I know it is written that God will be made known to everyone through his divine ways. If that is true then what is the point of the great commission besides perhaps giving people a more meaningful existence while living on earth? Surely then there have and are people that have not heard of Jesus in the way we perceive Him and do not profess to be Christians. These people will not be condemned because they have lived a life according to the signs God has given them about Him.
With my lack of understanding it is then impossible for me judge or preach my beliefs to someone from a foreign culture. When I can not truly know how God has been revealed to them. How is my way any better? Isn’t it kind of like if we met aliens and tried to convert them?
Does it not seem that we as imperfect Christians are a horrible way of spreading the good news?
