Your last two sermons have really shook me…. especially this one. Now this is not something i enjoy admitting , but this here sermon brought tears to my eyes. It was one of the most powerful sermons ive heard preached at northview since i started attending/watching. Im not going to say exactly what it did (everything from convict to encourage), but what i will say is this. Sometimes things become heavy , life becomes hard. The past rears its head and is relentless. During such times its easy to get to the point when you just want to wave a white flag. But somehow for reasons i dont understand god through northview always speaks through one of its pastors and gives you that little bit of…. of whatever…. that you need to continue. IT never lasts long , i seemingly am always in need of, oh how do you say .... i guess refilling. Im like a glass with a hole in the bottom….. and god has been faithful to never let me run completely dry , though at times very close. This sermon here has refilled that cup. If only for a day , or a week , or until the next refilling…. and i just wanted to say thank you.
