Guatemala: Day 3

HEy, Nic and jonah here and it is time for our blog, YAAAA!!!!!

Nic first, First off the city is AMAZING, it is beutful here and i am having so much fun!!!  Our family is very nice but they don’t speak any english so that makes things kinda complicated, but still a very nice family and they are great cooks, The foood is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!  We went to antigua yesterday, it is the city about a half hour from here and it is very nice.  It is surrounded by jungle and vlocanos and they were soo cool there is three of them and one was smoking, it was cool.  We had VBS today and the kids are soo cool. They all wanted sword balloons and then we ran out and i felt real bad, but they were cool any way they like to play all the games with you and hug you and take pictures of you.  Any way running out of time so having a awesome time.  Hi mom!

{This is jonah } Howdy! let me say first off this place is amazing. the temperature out here is so wam, t-shirts, and shorts all day long! …. except at night…. :/ then its a lil chilly. The kids here are sooo cute and everyone is extremle friendly here its so kool. were all starting to get the language more, having a normal english sentence then randomly putting new words we just learned in spanish thrown in there, its pretty entertaining, haha. the construction is so fun, three days a week. three hours or intense none stop shovelling, sucha good workout!  im getting a pretty descent tan goin here but i expect to be black by the time i come back to homebase . our homestay family is so nice and realy good cooks, but they dont speak any english, all we say is yes, and thankyou. hahaha. she made lour bed and cleaned up our room when we left and that made us feel bad so today right when we got up we made our own beds and cleanedup a little bit- haha we win, were still tryin tto work on the whole “let us help you put away the dishes ” but we get and she starts saying spanish we dont understand until we put the dishes down :S. haha i love it here, at the skool there is this german shepard baby dog, which is AMAZING!!!  im still trying to figur out a way on how to get it in my cheak luggage though… thatll be tricky . well il see ya when i get home wich lots of stories and pictures. BYE!!!!
