MOMS (Mentoring of Mothers Society)

Registration for Childcare begins at 9:15, so come early to register your child!

Dates:
Fall: September 20 - December 6
Winter / Spring: January 10 - May 17
MOMS will be cancelled during Spring Break from March 13 and March 20

MOMS (Mentoring of Mothers Society):

• Provides a network that encourages and equips moms to be the best mothers, wives and friends they can be.
• Provides the opportunity for mothers to develop their skills and talents, giving them confidence in their personal growth.
• Provides a safe place for women to share their struggles and concerns related to raising a family.
• Provides mature women the opportunity to mentor younger mothers.

MOMs will be studying the books; The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman and The Mission of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson.
Or join the coffee talk group where you can just sit and visit with other moms.

Activities include guest speakers, do-it-yourself workshops [eg. planting spring bulbs, making your own jewelry, how to organize your closet, easy exercise tips].  And of course, there is lots of time for visiting, eating yummy treats and laughing together!
Cost is $3.00 per person with no registration fees.

Our CHILDCARE program offers nursery and pre-school type classes for newborns to age 5. The children receive two hours of songs, stories, crafts and social development.

TAKE NOTE: In case of bad weather, MOMS will be canceled if the Public School System is closed. Check online at http://www.sd34.bc.ca or listen to local radio stations.
