What I do: I have worked for the federal government for 42 years. I have worked in defense research, oceanography, consumer protection, product safety, and tobacco control.  I am currently the Health Canada coordinator for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

Wisdom or bit of advice: Anything that I could say here would not be wise.

Spouse: Janice Loewen whom I love dearly – I am so blessed.

Children: Many and even more who have adopted me.

Education: Graduate Technologist (computer science)

Hope and Vision for Northview: That Northview will be a church without boarders, a family church, a church where people come for refuge from the world and will be built up through fellowship with one another and through the worship of our God. 

How I got involved with Northview: Because someone cared enough about me to pray that I would come to know the Lord.  I came, I did.  What else can I say?

A few of my favorite things: Watching the clouds on a bright sunny day; listening to the wind blowing through trees; cooking for the appreciation of others; fixing things; although it is really rare, experiencing unconditional love.

Favorite preacher: The one who challenges my mind.
