Is Jesus the treasure you seek? Does your time indicate that he is? Does your money? Does your speech? Do your dreams?

In quiet and peaceful moments, we believe that there is a God and that He has all power and authority, but when the storms rise, our real beliefs come out.

God is like that. He starts with insignificance, but he doesn’t keep things that way. So embrace the seemingly insignificant and watch what God does with it. The Kingdom of God begins in insignificance, but it doesn’t stay that way.

The Sower and the Soil

The family of Jesus (the Church) is more important than you can possibly imagine. Christ saved us so that we could be part of deep, committed relationships with one another.

He appointed twelve—designating them apostle that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. Mark 3:13-14

Mark is going to draw our attention today to an encounter that Jesus had with the New Testament Legalists, the Pharisees.
