TABOR COURT SEEKS VOLUNTEER BUS DRIVERS – Tabor Village is excited to announce that we are partnering with Menno Campus to purchase a fully accessible bus for tenant and resident use. We are looking forward to the possibility of weekly outings; trips to places and events that are meaningful to our entire population at Tabor Village. To make this program a reality, we are looking for a volunteer who is able to drive the bus for us. This would entail having a class 4 driver’s license, as well as the time and energy to commit one day a week to this project. VOLUNTEER TEACHER OPPORTUNITY - Pacific Academy Outreach Society is looking for 1-2 teachers to teach missionary children in beautiful Uganda, East Africa.  The teacher or teachers will teach 3-5 children aged 5-9 (Kindergarten and Grade 3).  There are experienced teachers overseeing and assisting you with curriculum planning and implementation.  BC on-line curriculum is used and you will have opportunities of travel and other experiences with Pacific Academy’s projects in Masaka and Kibaale, Uganda.  You do not have to have teacher certification, but a heart to serve and a heart for working with children. YOUTH MENTORS NEEDED- Youth Mentoring Program (Abbotsford Community Resources- Youth Resource Centre) Requirements:
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Complete a criminal record check (which will be done by Abbotsford Community Services)
- Willingness to work with a youth for at least a year.
- Willingness to commit to at least 2 hours a week.
