Women’s Ministry Assistant Mission Campus: 10 hours a week

As a Women’s Ministry team member, this individual would be primarily responsible to assist with various administrative and care ministry-related duties, primarily at the Mission Campus. She would have direct responsibility for overseeing specific ministry programs, and work under Carla’s direction to complete projects required for the department as a whole (eg. special events and urgent or time-sensitive tasks which need to get complete in a timely manner). Job Description: Women’s Ministry Assistant JD

Weekend and Evening Facility Assistant Positions – Abbotsford (6-12 hrs/week):

Start Dates and Shift times:

Position 1: August 12/13 (Saturdays 7:30am-2:00pm. Sundays 3:00-9:00pm)
Position 2: September 3. (Sundays 7:00am-3:00pm)
Position 3: September 11 (Mondays 4:00-10:00pm)

Responsible for the readiness, appearance and security of Northview’s buildings and property during program/event use. This positions are ideally suited for a university or college students. A candidate for the position must be a responsible self motivated person with a desire to serve behind the scene. He or she must be trustworthy with no criminal record. The individual will be involved in room setup and tear down and so must be physically able to do lifting and carrying a minimum of 50lbs. The candidate may be asked to take care of minor cleaning and yard work. Full job description available on request. Custodian / Facility Assistant – Mission Campus (20 hrs/week):

Start Date: August / September

Responsible for the appearance, readiness and security of Northview’s Mission buildings and property. A candidate for the position of custodian / facility assistant must be a self motivated person with a desire to serve behind the scenes to enable ministry. He or she must be trustworthy with no criminal record. He or she must be physically able to do lifting and carrying (50 pounds). Custodial training and or experience necessary. WHMIS certification required. Some handyman experience an asset but not essential. The person called to this service must be in agreement with Northview’s confession of faith, mission, vision and core values and must have a passion for the ministry of the church.
