What is a Northview Community Group?

Community Groups are smaller groups of people sharing life together with the aim of growing spiritually through authentic relationships and where people are committed to growing “in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

Our Mission of Loving God, Loving Others and Loving the World is achieved through attending the weekend services, being in a Community Group, and serving in one’s giftedness.

A Community Group consists of 10-18 adults who are meeting together regularly and seeking to find balance in the following three areas for the purpose of discipleship:

  1. Content; Beliefs formed by teaching and discussion that aligns with the doctrine of our church.
  2. Connection; Belonging experienced by forming friendships through regular gatherings so we can know others for who they truly are.
  3. Care; Behaviour marked by prayer for one another, helping each other, doing good to one another, and bearing one another’s burdens.
