Where to find us.

It is a powerful thing to be responsible for a child. It is even more daunting to be responsible for their spiritual training. Have you looked into a child’s eyes lately? There you will see innocence, trust, confidence. Or you may find in those eyes pain, questions, fear. The eyes of some children tell you of uncertainty, as if they are painfully aware of their own inadequacies. Others are full of fun and challenge … the product of a home overflowing with love and support. Some seem sleepy, some are mischievous, some are blank with disinterest. All of these eyes … these hundreds of eyes … come to soak in what Jesus has for them each week. God has placed them here to carry on His plan, long after we are gone … and He does not want us to be unaware of the importance He places on loving, caring and training of these children.
Children are the church … today. Our kids are worshiping, giving, serving and learning. They are contributing and learning to love the church.

We believe that children are capable of both pursuing and grasping deep truths of God at a very young age. This is the time when these truths should be intentionally, carefully and consistently set in place.
We believe that the Bible is the very Word of God and from it children will begin to put into place foundational concepts which will guide them for the rest of their lives. We believe that “all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16) We encourage placing a Bible in the hands of each child, teaching them to use it, read it, memorize it, apply it and share it.
We believe that faith comes through hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We believe that children can experience Jesus’ love and accept Him as personal Saviour at an early age. It is our responsibility to ensure that children receive continued instruction … ‘precept upon precept’ Isaiah 28:10,13) … and as they continue through our ministry to be filled “with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” (Colossians 1:9) Truth presented on a simple level in the preschool years is reinforced and expanded at primary levels and through the grade school years.
We believe that the most successful learning comes when children are taught in small, age-appropriate groups. Here the children are provided with godly adult role-models that can speak into their lives on a regular basis. This venue also provides a safe place for them to learn to pray, ask questions, and establish friendships with other church kids.
We believe that worship is an integral part of a child’s Christian experience. We intentionally give them opportunities to express themselves in praise through music, giving, prayer and involvement in mission projects.
We believe it is our mandate to come alongside the teaching that is happening in the homes of our families to encourage, supplement and energize this discipleship path. The Bible teaches that the parent is the dominant spiritual educator of their child (Deuteronomy 6: 4-9). Our goal is to provide a curriculum that will enable the church to assist parents in equipping each child with their God-given role. We supply the family with take-home papers, Bible bookmarks and weekly memory verses. It is our desire that these resources be used to provide meaningful interaction between parents and their children. In some homes, however, this does not happen. We are very aware of the magnitude of our responsibility to give these children the opportunity to hear what God has for them. And because our contact with these kids may be only once or twice a month, our teaching must be clear and intentional … getting the Bible into their hands so that God’s Word will speak Truth into their lives.
We believe that children should experience corporate, intergenerational worship at church. We encourage families to worship together at the beginning of the service, giving children the opportunity to learn that the church is a family consisting of all age groups. We also support the inclusion of children in entire services several times a year.
We believe that children should be growing disciples of Jesus Christ, striving to fulfill the great commission in their homes, schools, and neighborhoods.
We believe that every child is created in God’s image and that Jesus Christ desires to have a personal relationship with each one. Imagine Ministries is dedicated to impacting children of all abilities with the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We desire to partner with families with special needs children to see them all become full participants in, and contributors to, the Body of Christ and our community.
Children are the church … tomorrow. We believe in growing kids toward full devotion to Jesus Christ and assisting them in meeting the challenges their generation faces. These are the people who will soon step into leadership. These are the ones who will become pastors, missionaries, teachers and parents. Our children will transform the future if they are transformed today.
