Children are a gift from God, and as you begin the journey of raising your child to know, love, and obey the Lord, you are not alone. At Northview Church, we aim to equip our parents to raise deeply rooted followers of Christ, and child dedication is part of the journey.
Child dedication is the parents’ affirmation before the gathered church of their intent to lead and spiritually nurture their child to know, love and serve God.
- Dedication classes and services are hosted at the Downes Road, Central Abbotsford, East Abbotsford, and Mission Campuses*
- All parents must attend a Child Dedication class prior to the dedication service.
- If you’ve already attended a Child Dedication class, you do not need to attend again.
Steps to Dedicate
General Registration
One registration is required for each child you wish to dedicate.
Dedication Class
We email out upcoming dates and registrations to those who have registered on the general registration.
Dedication Service
We email out upcoming dates and registrations to those who have taken the dedication class.
