FALL 2011 Session - Her Legacy

“You either pass on your fears or your faith.” This statement struck me when I first heard it, and I have thought of it often when our family has encountered difficult situations, asking myself, “As I walk through this experience with them, am I passing on my fears, or my faith?”

Whether we realize it or not, we are each creating our legacy every moment of every day.  We are continually “passing on” our beliefs and ideas and convictions to those around us.  Our interactions with God and with each other will have lasting (and often eternal) impact. 

Our Fall Open Session, Her Legacy, will focus on evaluating and shaping our legacy in light of a variety of spiritual disciplines.  We plan to address the following topics within this framework:

Faith / Submission / Prayer / Worship / Contentment / Perseverance / Relationships within the Church / Singleness and Marriage / Nurturing / Good Deeds/ Witness / Giving / Grace

Women from Northview will teach on these topics, and will also share from their personal journey of faith.
