How I got involved with Northview: My wife Bethany and I began to attend Sola at Northview in 2006. Later we volunteered in the High School ministry during 2007-2009. I was pleased to be accepted in Northview’s Internship Program in 2010, and worked in the Grade School Department in Children’s Ministry. In 2011, I was again pleased to accept an Interim position as the Director of Grade School.

Education: I have a Bachelor’s in Theology from Briercrest College.

Hometown: Fairfield, California.

What I’m reading right now: The Cost of Discipleship, Great Expectations.

What I am truly passionate about: The people I love most in life are Jesus, my family, and this church. I really love discussing Biblical studies and Theology.

Spouse/Kids: Bethany is more than I ever could have hoped for in a wife. I truly am blessed everyday I spend with her. Our daughter Anna was born February 2011, bringing us joy, fulfillment, and sleeplessness. We love her to pieces.

What I do: On weekdays you’ll find me glued to my laptop as I prepare for the weekend, or chasing our daughter Anna around our apartment. On weekends you can find me at KidsTown teaching Grade School students.

A few of my favorite things: Earl Grey Tea (extra bergamot if you have it), collecting and carving tobacco pipes, reading, the beach, backpacking, and In-N-Out Burger.

What I’m reading right now: The Lost World of Genesis One: Ancient Cosmology and the Origins Debate - John H. Walton, Total Truth: Liberating Christianity from Its Cultural Captivity - Nancy Pearcy.

Favorite kind of music: Acoustic Guitar, Folk Rock.
