Hi, my name is Julie. I began working at Northview in August 2011. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work in the Children’s department as an admin assistant. My husband Sean and I were married July 2011 and have been attending Northview for almost 2 years. Yes, we love it!

I feel so blessed to be working with such a wonderful team in the Children’s Ministry department. Here is a little about me:

Home Town: Chilliwack… but I like to believe it is Abbotsford.

Work & Education: I have worked in the field of childcare for over 7 years. I also have taught dance and drama for 5 years. I worked on movie sets for 3 years before I continued on to study Performing Arts which I received a diploma in 2006. I am currently studying Psychology & English at UFV.

5 Random Facts About Me: I love assembling Ikea furniture. I love baking! I love going for coffee with friends and talking… a lot. I use to love coffee but honestly it was as if it just stopped liking me… and I found giving up ice cream and cheesecake is not an easy thing to do!

What I Am Passionate About: I have a huge heart for outreach and missions work, and absolutely love being outside in the sunshine. I had the opportunity to go to Peru a few years ago to work in ministering to children and know I have never really been the same. I am looking forward to taking part in more missions’ trips in the future. I also have a huge heart for people who have or currently do struggle with addictions, effects of abuse, depression and other life-controlling issues. I hope one day to receive a degree in Psychology in order to work in this field in the near future. And lastly I love, love, love to write and motivate people again in the same areas as I have shared above. I blog on a regular basis, sharing the message of Jesus and practical steps through personal experience to inspire change in ones life. I pray and hope that it can make an impact in people’s lives.
