Hi there! As you may have guessed, my name is Brent and I have had the privilege of being on staff at Northview since August of 2011 as the Director of Imagine Ministries, which is the special needs ministry at Northview. I can’t think of a more exciting and enriching way in which to serve God!

When I think of Jesus and how he reached out to those on society’s margins, I am humbled when I consider that God has given me the opportunity to lead a ministry that serves to love and accept special needs individuals and their families by exemplifying Jesus’ love, mercy and compassion to them so that they can encounter God’s loving embrace.

When I am not at work, I value time with my beautiful wife Nikki and my 2 awesome boys Josiah and Micah, whom God has blessed me with in an amazing way. When I’m not being a hubby and a daddy, I spend my time reading, singing and playing guitar, embracing all things 80’s (except for ALF, I never got him) and promoting the benefits of cheering for the Oilers, Eskimos and Cowboys, all teams with a championship pedigree I might add.

I have lived in Abbotsford since 1987 and have attended Northview since 2001. My last name is also the same as a small town in Saskatchewan if anyone truly cares…well, I think that’s it.
