What I do:  I serve as an Advancement Officer in BC and Alberta for the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary Canada - ACTS Campus, Langley, BC.  I have also worked with Power to Change, Canada and served as a Pastor in 3 different MB churches in British Columbia from 1984-1999.

Spouse: Betty and I were married in July 1973, we have 3 adult children, 2 are married, 6 grandchildren.

Children: Chris is married to Julie {Shalaya, Desmond, Terrell & Kenya}; Chad;  Coraleen {Cory} is married to Chris Priebe {Mikaya & Taylen}

Education: Bachelor’s Degree 1983; MA in Christian Ministry 1991

Hope and Vision for Northview: To keep our focus on Christ and the power of the Gospel.

How I got involved with Northview:  After having served as a Senior Pastor in Vancouver, we moved to Abbotsford in 1999 and chose to make Northview our home church.  We were asked to serve as Pastoral Elders and gave leadership to many Life Groups over the next 6 years.  I have also served on several committees and commissions and also as Assistant Moderator.

A few of my favourite things:  I love spending time with our family in the Okanagan, walking, reading and traveling to different places with Betty.

Favourite author: Many authors on a variety of topics.

Favourite kind of music: Contemporary worship music, some jazz and various artists.

Favourite verse:  “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”  2 Corinthians 9:8

Hometown:  Born in southern Manitoba, grew up near Winnipeg.  Since 1974 we have lived in various places in Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
