Thursdays 7-9:15pm in the Youth Centre (back of Church...follow signs)
CQ Live is our Thursday night large group gathering with a diverse mix of multi-media, drama/arts, music, interactive games, small group "download" time, relationship building, and messages that will challenge you to think about your faith journey, and the person God has called you to be. We understand that on any given Thursday we'll have students coming out who are in very different levels of their experience and understanding of God...that's why we've prayed about it, and designed a night where we can connect with students on all levels in their journey of faith, whether you're out for the first time, or a CQ "veteran"...there's a place for you! Bring a friend...everyone and anyone is welcome! But be warned...coming to CQ could challenge you to live your life in an authentic, radical, & transforming way...we love to have fun, get crazy, and laugh, but we're committed to a deeper life and purpose that the world just can't offer... so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe ~Philippians 2:15~
Come on out to see what we're so pumped about...we think you'll enjoy the authentic community atmosphere we have here, as well as the eagerness we have to call on, respond to, and engage in our awesome God! At 9pm our diner, Checkers, opens for students to hang out and grab some cool eats...we have a tuck shop style "menu", as well as light appetizers and drinks...if you bring $2-3 you're laughing!
Our fall kickoff (The Buzz) will be Sept. 11th, 2008 @ 6:30pm with bands, food, games and serious fun...our regular fall ministry program will resume Sept. 18th @ 6:30pm
