Step 1. Individuals complete a 5 part assessment online. The tools online provided with the assessments are very informative and can educate the participant on how to understand the results of their assessment.
Step 2. Individuals take their understanding further in a workshop setting. PLACE Workshops usually run for 4 - 6 weeks. Each set of Sessions or Track consists or interactive and exploratory style content. Experienced in a group setting with a trained facilitator participants are lead through teaching and discussion to help them better understand what the elements of the PLACE assessment mean and how they can use their results to experience effective and fulfilling ministry. The PLACE Workshop is not just another seminar that sends you home excited with no real practical tools. PLACE Workshops equip you with the knowledge, tools and power you need to transform your service.
Step 3. Workshop Graduates connect with a consultant to personalize and apply their understanding of the assessment results in order to take some steps forward in making their service more effective. Opportunities are accessed and evaluated as to their fit and individuals leave with action steps they choose to implement.
Step 4. Finding the right fit takes many experiments so to assist in this, Participant's e-mails are added to the Northview Opportunity Hotline. Being on the Hotline guarantees that as soon as ministry opportunities are made available participants on the list get notified by e-mail or by church-mail. Having better understood what environments suit them individuals can then try out short term opportunities to explore and test their passion connections to ministry.
