Special Events:

  • WHAT A GIRL WANTS 

    Mini Camp (Grade 6 & 7, August 6th & 7th) or Full Camp (Grade 8-12, August 11th - 15th)

    Small Group Leaders - Lead a small group of girls; mentor, facilitate and disciple your group of girls through discussion, encouragement and prayerful support. Demonstrate and teach about the love that Jesus has for them.

    Prayer Team     -     Commit to praying for the camps. The needs of the camps will   be expressed to the prayer team via e-mail, therefore, access to e-mail is a   necessity.

    Registration Table - Assist the girls with signing in to the camp.  Handling out registration packages. More details will be given at the camp. Can not also be a group leader.

    Fashion Show Dresser/Stage Crew - Assist girls in preparing their outfits to be modeled. Assist them to be ready with their outfit on and in their spot when needed. Ensure the proper and careful handling of the garments, returning them to the racks in preparation to go back to the store. The stage crew will assist with props and assuring that the girls know when to enter and exit the stage.

    Life Guards - Certified life guard to ensure safety in and around a pool for approximately 50-80 girls for August 7th, 11am-3pm.

    Skin Care Professionals - Some basic teaching of skin care. Assist and teach girls to cleanse their skin. Possibly do Facials on girls. More detailed information will be decided based on product availability. For August 15, 10am-2pm

    Nail Care Professionals - Some basic teaching on nail care. Teach how to do manicures and do some manicures on August 15, 10am-2pm.

    Professional Hair Styles - Assist girls in exploring styles that they like. Teach basic styling techniques. Assist girls in styling their hair on August 15, 10am -2pm.

    Professional Make-up Artists - Teach basic make-up application techniques. Assist girls to apply make-up on August 15, 10am-2pm

    Kitchen - To help with the preparation of snacks and lunch with direction of kitchen supervisor. Putting snacks and lunch out on buffet table. To assist with kitchen clean up. Come for 2-4 hour blocks based on your flexibility on any of these dates: August. 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. Please no open toed shoes or sleeveless shirts.
